Southern Belle Summer!: The Essentials

Hey y'all! It's "Too Cute Tuesday", and I was trying to come up with something to post for y'all when this hit me! This is a list of things every southern belle needs to survive the summer! Here we go!

1. Chevron. ANYTHING CHEVRON. It's just adorable. You can have chevron dresses, shorts, shirts, jewelry, ect. It doesn't matter because it's always cute. 

2. Monogram. These days you can get anything and everything monogrammed. Monogram is southern girl's best friend. This is an essential part of your wardrobe.

3. Coral and Mint/Turquoise. You must own something with those colors in it. They're just too cute not to. I mean, my bathroom is turquoise blue. 

4. Cute shorts. Yes, every now and then a good pair of plain denim shorts are good, but you can almost never go wrong with a cute pair of floral or lace shorts. (OR BOTH!) They can be worn casually or dressy. You can pair them with boots, flip-flops, or heels. They're perfect. 

5. A blazer. We all need at least one.

6. Boots. Yes, just yes. If you don't have a pair, go get one now. You need these. It's a southern necessity.  They are very ESSENTIAL! And darn cute too! 

7. Bows. Girls, bows over bros. You don't them, you need this. 

 Boys. For the love of all things southern. BOWTIES. Girls love these. Learn this. Apply this. 

8. Maxi Dresses! We love these! They're perfect for all occasions! 

9. Sun Dresses. Girls you have to have a few of these. 

10. PEARLS. 

11. Something Patriotic. 

12. Denim, Denim, Denim! Denim shirts, shorts, pants, skirts, ect you just need some!
