Top 10 Ways to Deal with Oily Hair!

I don't know about any of you, but I am almost positive that I have the WORST hair in the entire universe. I have to wash my hair every single day to keep it under control (and I know I know...washing your hair every day strips your hair of the precious oils it has, but I promise this is necessary for me!). If I don't wash my hair everyday, my only other option is sporting the "wet slick back" look. As if I even have to say this...but YUCK. Anyways, I'm here to tell you all about the top 10 ways, that I've tested, to fight or manage oily hair!

#1: Baking soda and vinegar- You wash your hair in baking soda, and you condition it with vinegar. Mix the baking soda and water together and massage it through your hair just like you would shampoo. Rinse well. Next you'll want to spray Apple Cider Vinegar into your hair and let sit. (Yes, it stinks pretty bad, but the smell washes out pretty well. If it's not out enough for you can throw in some essential oils.)

#2: Beer- Wash your hair in your normal shampoo, and rinse it out with beer. It doesn't matter what brand (you can buy the cheapest beer you can find, if you'd like.) That smell also rinses out pretty well. There is no need to use conditioner after you rinse the beer out.

#3: Cornmeal or Cornstarch- Pour 1 Tbsp cornmeal or cornstarch into an empty salt or pepper shaker and sprinkle onto dry hair and scalp until you’ve used it all. After 10 minutes, use a paddle hairbrush to completely brush it out. Treatment can be applied every other day.

#4: Dishwashing liquid- Add a couple drops of dishwashing liquid to your shampoo.  If that makes you uncomfortable then you need to search for a shampoo with a pH higher than 67.

#5: Rinse thoroughly- Whatever shampoo you use, make sure you rinse it out thoroughly. Leftover residue can build up dirt and oil.

#6: No conditioner- Oily hair does not need a lot of conditioner. If your hair becomes dried out apply a small amount to the very ends.

#7: Don't brush your hair so much- Forget the 100 strokes. Every time you run the brush through your hair, you're dragging oil from your scalp through the rest of your hair.

#8: Lemon Juice- Mix the juice of one lemon with a cup of water, and rinse your hair well.

#9: Tea- Rinse your hair with diluted tea.

#10: Alcohol- I mentioned beer before, but any alcoholic beverage will do. Just mix a shot amount of alcohol with some water, and rinse very well.

Arda Wigs Review!

Okay, so I've already started planning my Halloween costume, and I'm starting a contest!  I'm going to be posting little clues of my costume, and if you can guess what I'm going to be then you get a special prize! So stay tuned!
Anyways I received a wig (for my costume) from Arda Wigs. I would like to rave on them for a little bit. When I ordered my wig, it was such a great experience. I received excellent customer service, the website is setup great (easy to maneuver), prices are reasonable, wigs come is a WIDE variety of colors an styles, and they are heat resistant and easily styled! I was very impressed with the whole experience.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Review!

Hey y'all!  Sorry it's been so long! Computer issues and internet issues :( ugh! I have so many great reviews coming your way!  Starting with Batiste Dry Shampoo! This stuff is FABULOUS.
I have very oily hair. Sometimes the day I shower, it gets oily. It is so annoying and unattractive.  I mean what am I supposed to do if I meet a cute boy, and my hair looks like I swam in the oil spill. Not to mention how dirty I feel. It's just gross.
When I got sent Batiste, I was wary. I've tried every product and DIY recipe there is, and I had yet to find anything worth sticking with. After I tried Batiste I was in awe. It works SO good. It's light and airy, so my hair doesn't feel weighed down with product. It's clear and doesn't dry white like others. Another good thing about it is the smell. They have a new scent, and it's just so fresh and pretty!

Eyebrows for the penny pincher!

Hey guys!  Soo how many of you HATE the prices of makeup these days? Like, it's crazy! I'm cheap. Okay? Don't judge. I don't like spending money on stuff that I really don't need. (Yes, ladies. You don't NEED makeup.) Don't get me wrong, makeup is my passion. I love it, but I don't love the dent it puts in my wallet.
I have a trick for you today all about eyebrows. As you probably know, I hate my eyebrows. I hate messing with them. Well, it has to be done, so why not do it the most cost effective way we can?
All you need:
Eyeshadow that matches your eyebrow color.
A brush.
Eyebrows pencil. (If too expensive, just eyeliner. No shame.)
Concealer. And an lash and brow brush.
